Bienert Katzman Littrell Williams LLP is pleased to announce that Anna M. Ross has joined the firm as an associate. Anna's arrival further strengthens the firm’s next generation of talented advocates.

Prior to joining the firm, Anna served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Karen E. Scott, United States Magistrate Judge for the Central District of California, where she worked on matters including habeas corpus petitions, prisoner constitutional claims, and pro se civil rights disputes. Before her clerkship, Anna gained experience in criminal defense as a law clerk with both the Federal Public Defender’s Office in Santa Ana and the Orange County Public Defender’s Office. She also served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Ronald A. Clifford III, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District of California.

“Anna is a whip-smart lawyer who has already had a successful career as a stage actor,” said Managing Partner John Littrell. “We think she will thrive in the courtroom.”

Anna earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Chapman University Fowler School of Law, where she served as Executive Managing Editor of the Chapman Law Review. She was also a member of the executive board of the Public Interest Law Foundation, helping raise more than $25,000 in summer grants for students pursuing public interest opportunities. Upon graduation, Anna received the Joann Leatherby Leadership Award for Women in the Law and was recognized for her commitment to pro bono service.

Before law school, Anna earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Theatre and Dramatic Arts from the University of Toronto. She spent several years working in theater, film, and commercial projects and was a member of SAG-AFTRA and the Actors' Equity Association.
