Alexis Paschedag Federico, BKLW PartnerBienert Katzman Littrell Williams LLP is proud to announce the elevation of Alexis Paschedag Federico to the firm’s partnership.

Alexis is an accomplished attorney who specializes in complex civil litigation.  She was recently recognized in the 2025 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Criminal Defense: White-Collar, and Insurance Law.  While at the firm, she led the team that secured dismissals of multiple civil cases with prejudice that had been filed against Tim Ballard, the founder and former CEO of an anti-child trafficking organization, and his wife Katherine.  She was also instrumental in the investigation that led the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California to move to dismiss all criminal charges against the firm’s client, a prominent pain management physician.

“Alexis is an outstanding lawyer and leader, and an even better person.  We are thrilled to welcome her to the partnership.” - Michael R. Williams, BKLW Partner and General Counsel

Prior to earning her law degree, summa cum laude, from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, Alexis was a helicopter pilot and instructor in the United States Marine Corps.  She was featured earlier this year in The Christian Science Monitor for her work as a board member of the Flying Leatherneck Historical Foundation, which is building a Marine Corps aviation museum in Irvine, and for her passion for promoting diversity in the Armed Forces.

Alexis currently serves as the Immediate Past Chair of the Orange County Veterans Advisory Council (“OCVAC”), which advises the Orange County Board of Supervisors on issues of importance to veterans and their families.  In 2022, Alexis was recognized by Orange County Supervisor Katrina Foley in the inaugural Women Making a Difference Award for her work with OCVAC and the Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group Advisory Brigade.
