The Role and Impact of Lawyer Representatives
Lawyer Representatives play a critical role in strengthening the relationship between the federal bench and bar. They assist in improving court administration, implementing new programs, and organizing educational and professional events, including the Southern and Central District Conferences, as well as the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference, which is an annual gathering of judges and lawyer representatives throughout the Circuit dedicated to enhancing court efficiency, technology, and education.
Veteran Trial Lawyers and Leaders in Federal Advocacy
Tony Bisconti is a seasoned trial attorney whose practice focuses on complex insolvency litigation, high-stakes business disputes, and white collar defense. Known for his strategic judgment and courtroom skill, Tony has successfully represented clients in federal and state courts across the country. He regularly handles matters involving financial fraud, fiduciary claims, and large-scale commercial conflicts, and his work has earned recognition from peers and clients alike.
Reuben Camper Cahn brings decades of elite trial and appellate experience, including more than 130 jury trials and over 100 appeals. A Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, Reuben has argued before the U.S. Supreme Court and has handled some of the most consequential criminal and civil cases in the country. His practice at BKLW centers on complex federal litigation, criminal defense, and appellate advocacy, where he is widely regarded for his mastery of constitutional and procedural issues.
