Bienert Katzman Littrell Williams LLP is pleased to welcome Bo Griffith to our team.  Bo joins us with a distinguished background in federal criminal defense, military justice, and complex litigation.  Most recently, Bo served as a Deputy Federal Public Defender for the Central District of California, where he secured multiple not‑guilty verdicts — including in the first ICE‑protester case to go to trial — and achieved significant wins in cases involving Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendment issues.  He has represented clients in matters ranging from multi‑million‑dollar fraud to immigration offenses, firearms allegations, and high‑profile federal investigations.

Before his time as a federal public defender, Bo served in the United States Marine Corps as both a military prosecutor and defense counsel, trying numerous jury and bench trials and counseling hundreds of Marines on their legal rights.  His experience spans complex litigation, evidence suppression motions, sentencing advocacy, administrative discharge boards, and service as a Special Assistant to the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of California.

“Bo has shown an uncanny ability to win, even in the most difficult cases,” said Managing Partner John Littrell.  “He’s going to be a great fit for us.”

Bo earned his J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law and holds a B.A. in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara.  He has also completed extensive litigation and trial‑advocacy training through the National Criminal Defense College, NACDL, and the Naval Justice School.
