Bienert Katzman Littrell Williams LLP is pleased to announce that Colm Cross has joined the firm as an associate. Colm’s arrival strengthens our ability to serve clients facing complex regulatory and compliance challenges, as well as those navigating investigations by securities regulators.

Colm represents financial services firms, public companies, and individuals in connection with investigations and enforcement actions brought by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, the U.S. Department of Justice, the New York Stock Exchange, and various state securities regulators.  He has co-authored several articles on regulatory compliance and actions, including analyses of proposed SEC rules and actions and updates on areas of regulatory scrutiny.

“Colm is fired up and ready to go.” said Managing Partner John Littrell.  “We expect he will have an immediate impact in our white collar and securities matters.”

Before his legal career, Colm served as a business analyst and consultant with Deloitte Consulting LLP, where he led critical initiatives such as implementing a service management system for a quasi-public corporation and facilitating workshops to help federal employees adapt to legislative changes.  Colm earned his J.D. cum laude from Duke University School of Law, where he served on the Editorial Board of the Duke Law Journal.  Following law school, he clerked for the late Honorable William H. Pauley of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.  Prior to joining BKLW, Colm was a managing associate at Sidley Austin LLP’s Washington, D.C. office.
