Bienert Katzman Littrell Williams LLP attorneys Tony Bisconti and Carlos Nevarez obtained a judgment totaling more than $3 million for their clients, who were victims of a major real estate investment scheme.

BKLW’s clients had invested substantial funds with a limited liability company and its related entities, which were managed and run by three individuals.  BKLW’s clients sued the LLC and individuals in Orange County Superior Court for breach of contract, declaratory relief, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, concealment, false promise, and unfair business practices.

During the course of litigation, BKLW filed nine motions to compel the defendants’ compliance with discovery requests, all of which the court granted.  BKLW was also compelled to file two motions for discovery and termination sanctions, both of which were granted.  BKLW ultimately filed motions to strike the defendants’ answers, which the court granted and directed that judgment be entered against the defendants.  The court entered the judgment in favor of BKLW’s clients in the amount of $3.3 million in June 2022.
