Michelle assists attorneys and paralegals in all phases of pre-litigation, litigation, and appeals. She is proficient in multiple advanced e-discovery platforms, practice management technology, and trial preparation. Her experience includes assisting in the preparation of motions for hearings and trials in federal and state courts, extensive review and analysis of discovery productions, and the research of potential witnesses.
Prior to joining Bienert Katzman Littrell Williams LLP in 2022, Michelle worked as a legal assistant at a boutique law firm specializing in the litigation of tenant rights disputes within vulnerable communities.
Michelle graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, where she served as a board member of the Black Pre-Law Association and was named a Sidley Austin LLP Sidley Prelaw Scholar. She also holds an Associate of Science in Administration of Justice from MiraCosta College, graduating with Highest Honors and as a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
