Bienert Katzman Littrell Williams LLP is happy to announce the addition of Sandra C. Lechman as our newest associate. Sandra is an experienced criminal defense attorney. She specializes in complex negotiations and has a long track record of securing dismissals or highly favorable dispositions for her clients prior to trial.

As a private practitioner and former trial lawyer for the Federal Defenders of San Diego, Inc., Sandra has tried numerous felony and misdemeanor cases. She has represented clients charged with multimillion-dollar healthcare fraud conspiracies, other forms of fraud, arms dealing, cross-border smuggling, and other criminal offenses.

Sandra is a compassionate and fierce advocate. She aggressively files pre-trial motions including motions to dismiss for government misconduct and other violations as well as motions to suppress. She has saved her clients from years in prison by successfully convincing judges to follow her sentencing recommendations over those of the government. One District Court Judge referred to Sandra as “a very wise litigator who often secures great results for her clients.”

In addition to her trial work, Sandra has written several appeals and argued multiple times before the Ninth Circuit of Appeals.
